Italian dishes. Recently installed from Italy “New Stone Pizza Oven”
for that true Italian taste. Ideally located in Chelmsford's town centre, The Corner Lounge has the best of Italian cuisine all day long. For those wishing to eat early, either before the theatre or cinema, or with young children, the restaurant is open all day. The perfect venue for Business lunches, Breakfast meetings or whether you are just meeting friends for coffee or light lunch. And …in the Evenings catering from romantic tables of two, to party celebrations. New! LITE LUNCH MENU Whenever you find yourself at The Corner Lounge, the restaurant offers a superb menu with lots of choice including light bites and salads, as well as specialities suitable to the time of day. In the mornings from frothy coffees to Full English and Continental Breakfasts. House favourites include "Linguini alla Diva" (Flat Spaghetti cooked with King Prawns & Scallops in a tomato sauce), and "Calabrese Piccante" (Stone Baked Pizza with tomato, spicy salami and chilli). In the afternoons, a recent innovation is the mixed tapas with an Italian twist, as a savoury alternative to The Corner Lounge's Italian coffee and traditional cakes, which are either made on the premises or sent directly from Italy. Continental & Full English Breakfast and Coffee served 9.00am - 11.30am.
